Kirsten Engel called for “demilitarizing America’s ‘national security systems”
The Washington Free Beacon reports, “As an environmental law professor, Arizona House candidate Kirsten Engel (D.) touted a manifesto that calls for demilitarizing America’s ‘national security systems’ and using the resources to fight climate change.”
Arizona’s sixth congressional district is home to both Davis Monthan Air Force Base and Fort Huachuca. The military installations support tens of thousands of Arizona jobs.
