FACT CHECK: Wiley Nickel is a liar

The Raleigh News and Observer fact checked Wiley Nickel’s latest ad and the result is not good for Wiley. 

Nickel’s claim that Bo Hines’ faced “criminal charges” was false and the charges were just speeding violations. 

And the photo used to claim that his Bo Hines “stood with rioters” was also a lie. The photo is a picture with his family during Christmas.

The paper notes, “The Nickel campaign did not respond to questions about why the photo of Hines with his family was used in the ad.”
