Pappas bankrolled by radical environmental groups as New England prepares for winter blackouts

New England is at risk for winter blackouts “as a surge in natural-gas demand abroad threatens to reduce supplies [power producers] need to generate electricity.”

Severe cold spells in the Northeast could reduce the amount of gas available to generate electricity as more of it is burned to heat homes.

But Chris Pappas doesn’t care – he’s raking in campaign cash from the League of Conservation Voters, which supports the $93 trillion Green New Deal that would raise household costs even more.
