Democrats’ California nightmare

In April, Politico’s California Playbook reported that the Golden State was a “silver lining” for D.C. Democrats, and “if there’s one place the party can still look to for a glimmer of hope, it’s deep blue California.”

Fast forward six months, and D.C. Democrats are facing a California nightmare. 

• Politico reports Julia Brownley’s polling shows she’s only winning by ONE POINT in her Biden +20 (!!!) seat. 
• The New York Times reports that Katie Porter, facing the prospect of losing, is suddenly unloading her war chest. 
•  House Majority PAC has pulled millions from CA-27 (a Biden +12) and CA-45 (a Biden +6). 
• The DCCC and House Majority PAC currently have NOTHING running on LA broadcast.
