The biggest transportation issue is not having a car

Today, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and Gabe Vasquez are doing a joint event In New Mexico to talk about “transportation issues.” 

The real transportation issue Buttigieg and Vasquez won’t talk about today is Albuquerque’s sky-high carjacking rate. 

Albuquerque has one of the highest rates in the country, and yet Vasquez continues to support reducing penalties for violent crime, even calling to defund the police.
