MEMO: Anti-Alaska vote will cost Mary Peltola
Mary Peltola’s extreme vote against H.R. 1, the Lower Energy Costs Act, will doom her re-election, a new political memo released by the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) found.
H.R. 1 would cut red tape blocking Alaska energy development and create good-paying jobs. The bill received bipartisan support, but NOT from Peltola.
Peltola siding with out-of-state environmental extremists and backing their job-killing, anti-Alaska agenda will cost her support in next year’s election.
Read the memo HERE.
When asked about the memo, Peltola selfishly complained that her vote would be exposed in campaign ads and did not bother to defend her anti-energy stance.
“Mary Peltola sealed her fate when she broke her promises. Voters will reject Peltola because when she had the chance to do right by Alaskans, she instead backed an extreme anti-Alaska, anti-energy agenda.” – NRCC Spokesperson Ben Petersen
