Vicente Gonzalez is building his 2024 platform

Based on his recent votes in DC, it’s clear Vicente Gonzalez is already building his 2024 platform: Embrace an anti-law enforcement agenda.

Recently, Vicente Gonzalez voted against the POLICE Act, a bill to mandate deportation for any non-citizen guilty of assaulting a police officer or first responder. 

Gonzalez also voted against condemning policies that effectively gave more power to anti-police activists in the District of Columbia, thus backing an extreme Washington D.C. plan giving more power to anti-police activists and allowing individual police officers to be targeted by protestors. 

These types of extreme anti-law enforcement agendas are tearing apart police forces and making communities more dangerous.
