📈 ECU poll: inflation most important issue for North Carolinians
According to a recent ECU statewide poll, inflation and the cost of living are the top issues for North Carolina — bad news for vulnerable Democrats in North Carolina like Wiley Nickel, Don Davis and Jeff Jackson.
“In North Carolina prices are going up, and so is the cost of living. I moved here from up north because it was affordable. Now it’s not anymore.”

Wiley Nickel, Don Davis and Jeff Jackson have been staunch supporters of Biden’s inflationary agenda. All three of them voted against legislation to increase American-made energy – meaning they are responsible for surging gas prices – and supported new truck standards which would jack up vehicle costs from over $2,500 for F-250s to over $8,300 for semi-trucks.
