Mary Peltola downplays Chinese Communist Party spying on Alaska military bases

Mary Peltola downplayed the menace of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) spies infiltrating Alaska military bases.

KTVF reported Peltola thought “Alaskans should not be overly concerned” over the CCP spies. Rather than demanding accountability, investigations and hearings, Peltola said she had “full faith” in the Biden administration.

It is a pattern of behavior for Peltola, who also downplayed the CCP spy balloon crisis. At the time, Peltola said “I think it’s important not to be alarmist.”
