What to know about “Bidenomics” in North Carolina
When half of Americans believe they are worse off now than they were a year ago and most Americans blame the president for the state of the economy, what does “Bidenomics” really mean?
44% of North Carolinians see inflation and the overall cost of living as the #1 issue facing their state. Under Biden’s economy, North Carolinians can’t keep up with the skyrocketing prices of rent, food, gas and medication.
Rent is by far the biggest pain on North Carolina families, with nearly half of renters spending over 30% of their income on rent and roughly two out of five renters are paying more than 35% of their income.
North Carolina Democrats Wiley Nickel, Don Davis and Jeff Jackson have been staunch supporters of Biden’s inflationary agenda, with all three of them voting against legislation to increase American-made energy – meaning they are responsible for surging gas prices – and supporting new truck standards which would jack up vehicle costs from over $2,500 for F-250s to over $8,300 for semi-trucks.
“The White House can give their economic plan whatever nickname they want, but it doesn’t change the fact that North Carolinians are hurting under Joe Biden’s inflationary policies. At the end of the day, North Carolinians know who is to blame for rising their rents and the cost of living, and his name rhymes with Shmoe Shmiden.” — NRCC Spokeswoman Delanie Bomar
