Ford’s EV losses pile up

August 1, 2023

The Biden administration’s obsessive push of electric vehicles has set up Ford to lose a whopping $4.5 billion on EV’s in 2023.

Meanwhile, Ford’s internal combustion engine (ICE) division continues to be profitable, but thanks to new EPA mandates and the Inflation Reduction Act supported by Dan Kildee and Hillary Scholten, Ford is being forced to abandon ICE vehicles.

Shutting down ICE production and shifting investments means less jobs and money for Michigan autoworkers.

“Extreme Democrats Dan Kildee and Hillary Scholten sided with climate activists over Michigan autoworkers and now job losses are adding up. The birthplace of the automobile deserves better than Kildee and Scholten who are all too happy to see Ford divest from Michigan and take the jobs with them.” — NRCC Spokesman Chris Gustafson
