Axios: NM Ranchers show Latino shift from Dems

Hispanic ranchers and farmers in New Mexico are losing confidence in Democrats.

According to Axios, New Mexico ranchers and farmers are trending away from extreme Democrats like Gabe Vasquez because radical policies “hurt their way of life” and because they are ignoring ranchers’ “long fights with the federal government.”

This comes as Hispanics across the country are also drifting away from Democrats, with 39% of Hispanics voting for Republicans last November, up from 25% in 2018.
