Gas prices 📈 & Hertel would make it worse

Gas prices across Michigan continue to soar, now setting a new high mark for 2023. 

Things would be worse for Mid-Michigan if Curtis Hertel had his way. Hertel supported Gov. Whitmer’s 173-percent gas tax increase which would have made Michigan home to among the highest tax rates in the country.

The “real plan” that Hertel was “proud to support” would have cost drivers an additional 45-cents per gallon.
