Riley’s Residency Still Unresolved
According to Bloomberg, last election cycle Josh Riley faced carpetbagger accusations for his background as a millionaire DC lawyer turned congressional candidate. Unfortunately for Riley, his new public disclosure is not going to help this go around.
In addition to raking in nearly $200,000 in the first 7 months of the year from a DC law firm & DC Think Tank, the report revealed Riley co-owns Republic Restoratives, a distillery and craft cocktail bar located “in the heart of Washington, DC and funded by the community.”
For Josh Riley to overcome the accusations that plagued his 2022 campaign, he needs to answer the following questions:
- Is Josh Riley living full time in his Ithaca apartment or in his million dollar home in DC?
- Are campaign donor funds being used to support Republic Restoratives?
- Are there no New York distilleries to invest in?
- Why won’t Josh Riley say definitively which Congressional District he plans to run in?
