POLITICO: DCCC’s major recruitment holes

They said they were going to take back the House. They can’t even find candidates willing to run.

POLITICO took a look at the major recruitment holes for House Democrats, using the DCCC’s target list as a measuring stick. Where they are raising the white flag include:

• FL-13
• FL-27
• WI-01

NRCC National Press Secretary Will Reinert said: “Nobody wants to run for Congress as a Democrat – just ask the DCCC. Joe Biden at the top of the ticket remains a major hurdle for House Democrats’ candidate recruitment.”
