Violent crime jumped in California
October 31, 2023
Violent crime and property crime jumped in California again.
Highlights from a new study:
- California’s violent crime rate increased 13.5 percent since 2019
- The violent crime rate increased 5.7 percent in the last year
Self-serving politician Josh Harder voted to make it worse by undermining police officers and refusing to condemn calls to defund the police.
“It is no coincidence that violent crime surged after extreme Democrats embraced the defund the police, soft-on-crime ideology. Josh Harder is an enabler of the most extreme Washington D.C. and Sacramento policies fueling this crime wave.” – NRCC Spokesperson Ben Petersen
