Liar liar pants on fire

Yesterday, Mary Peltola falsely claimed “I’m fighting every day for every bit of funding we can get” for “energy grids” and infrastructure.

But last month, Peltola voted against over $26 million in funding for Alaska infrastructure projects.

• Peltola voted against H.R. 4394, the Energy and Water Development and Related Agencies Appropriations Act.
• She explained her vote by falsely claiming the bill defunded the Denali Commission. It didn’t — and she should have known that.
• Then she ham-fistedly tried to cover up her falsehood.
