ICYMI: Kiggans advocates for veteran caregivers’ mental health

In case you missed it, Congresswoman Jen Kiggans’ legislation to provide more mental health resources for veterans’ caregivers passed the House of Representatives.

“There was no better place to focus for me than the mental health for our veterans and for their caregivers,” Kiggans said about the bill. 

This is just the latest effort in a long list of work by Kiggans advocating for veterans. Kiggans has already introduced legislation to expand VA benefits for Guardsmen and reservists, and to support small businesses owned by service-disabled veterans.
