45% higher Medicare cost for Floridians
The Inflation Reduction Act will cause Medicare Part D prescription drug premiums to rise by as much as 45% in Florida according to a new study.
Soto previously celebrated the IRA, saying “The Inflation Reduction Act is a historic victory for Florida families and for our planet: Delivering the investments we need to keep down health care costs.”
Unfortunately for Floridians, Soto’s IRA is actually making medication more expensive.
“Senior citizens on fixed incomes were already the most vulnerable to Darren Soto’s extreme inflationary agenda. Now Grandma and Grandpa’s final refill of their prescription drugs in 2023 might be the last one they can afford.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Delanie Bomar
