NRCC Launches Unprecedented Battle Station Program in Effort to Build Candidate Brands, Encourage Early Voting Among Swing Voters
The National Republican Congressional Committee announced a multi-million-dollar investment in the first-ever Battle Station Program to assist campaigns with building individual brands and to encourage early and election-day voting among swing voters through direct voter contact.
With two-thirds of House swing districts in uncompetitive presidential states, the NRCC’s Battle Station Program is a first-of-its-kind multi-million-dollar investment from the Committee to reach 3 million crucial swing voters, identified by NRCC data, via direct voter contact by election day.
“Republicans can beat Democrats on the ground this cycle with this unprecedented NRCC investment to persuade and turn out voters,” said NRCC Chairman Richard Hudson. “The NRCC Battle Station program gives GOP campaigns tools to build effective brands with voters and then make sure they turn up at the ballot box – blocking and tackling to grow the majority.”
The NRCC has already opened Battle Station offices in 21 Republican-held swing-seat districts and aims to open Battle Station offices supporting Republican challengers up and down the ballot in more than a dozen swing-seat districts.
In the 21 Republican held districts with a NRCC Battle Station office, paid staff already enlisted over 1,000 volunteers to assist with swing-voter contact.
