Lujan complains about Vasquez’s crisis
Governor Lujan Grisham is PO’d about Gabe Vasquez’s border crisis.
Lujan Grisham joined a group of Democrat governors calling on the Biden administration and congressional leaders to address the crisis at the southern border, which Vasquez has enabled during his time in Congress.
Vasquez voted against securing the border, hiring more Border Patrol agents, ending catch and release, and strengthening and streamlining the asylum process
Vasquez has even gone so far as to say the border crisis is a “non-existent threat” and efforts to secure the border were “ill-informed” and “in bad taste.” Earlier this month he said Republicans only “want to make [the border] a political issue” because it’s an election year.
Long story short: Vasquez enabled the problem Lujan Grisham is mad about.
“Without border crisis enabler Gabe Vasquez in Congress, the migrant crisis in New Mexico would not be such a problem. Lujan Grisham should blame Vasquez for this crisis.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Delanie Bomar
