RATING CHANGE: TX-34 moves in favor of Republicans

Following extremist Vicente Gonzalez’s votes against the border last week and him being outraised nearly 3:1 for the second quarter in a row, Sabato’s Crystal Ball is moving TX-34’s rating toward Republicans.

This district is trending toward Republicans, with Sabato’s Crystal Ball noting, “What prompts us to move this to a more competitive category is mainly the possibility that the realignment that we thought might intensify in 2022 could instead do so in 2024.”
