As NYC Mayor Eric Adams starts his quest to give prepaid debit cards to illegal immigrants, we thought some context would be helpful. 

In New York City, if you lose your job thanks to Joe Biden’s economy and need to go on unemployment, those benefits can range from $100 to $500 per week. 

In comparison, these prepaid debit cards are for $350 per week. 

Meaning, there is a very good possibility that illegal immigrants are now getting more from the taxpayers than American citizens going through a hard time.
