Yadira Caraveo’s extreme legislative record has led directly to this:
First, Caraveo introduced a law to legalize fentanyl possession, which has effects so deadly the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency issued an official warning of increased fentanyl threats in Colorado.
Then, Caraveo voted against addressing the border crisis and against commonsense border security measures like hiring more Border Patrol agents and deploying more technology.
“Yadira Caraveo’s pro-fentanyl and anti-border security policies are directly responsible for the rise in deadly drugs and the cartels across the state. To put it simply: Caraveo is too extreme for Colorado.” — NRCC Spokeswoman Delanie Bomar
