Voters want more border security than Gonzalez provides
New polling today reveals that voters are in favor of tightening border security measures, citing crime and safety concerns as the top reasons why:
Meanwhile, Vicente Gonzalez refuses to take the border crisis seriously. He voted against hiring more CBP agents and voted against deploying improved technology to the southern border. He even praised the mess at the border, saying “What the President did, what Secretary Mayorkas has done, has positively impacted our border and that’s a fact.”
“Vicente Gonzalez is on the wrong side of the issue and voters are taking notice. This race will come down to which candidate will protect voters’ safety, and Gonzalez has shown that he will not.” — NRCC Spokeswoman Delanie Bomar
