But Jeffries didn’t budge, insisting the president is the best person to lead their party to victory next year. Jeffries sees the presidential race as a clear boon for House Democratic candidates, predicting it will again juice up turnout and motivate voters.”
• DCCC chair Suzan DelBene: Um, he’ll be on the campaign trail with some [vulnerable House Democrats].
• Mary Peltola: “I think that Joe Biden’s mental acuity is very, very on. He’s one of the smartest, sharpest people I’ve met in D.C.” 
• Vicente Gonzalez: “[Biden] He’s healthy, he’s sharp, he’s a full package.”
• Steven Horsford: “The president is very well suited to be our commander-in-chief.”
• Susan Wild: “He’s very sharp“

NRCC National Press Secretary Will Reinert said: “Extreme House Democrats own just as much blame for the dire state of the country as Joe Biden; no wonder they continue to bury their heads in the sand and ignore their grim political reality.”
