It’s Just Too Little Too Late
It’s time to cue up JoJo’s 2006 hit, “Too Little Too Late” as we hear about Joe Biden’s new Executive Order.
Today, Biden announced an executive order on asylum requirements after 64 open border actions sent illegal crossings skyrocketing to an average of 2 million per year during the Biden presidency.
Anyone with eyes can see this is simply an election year stunt. House Republicans have tried to secure the border for the past two years by passing:
- HR 2 Secure the Border Act
- HRes 461 Condemning the use of elementary and secondary school facilities to provide shelter for aliens who are not admitted to the United States
- HR 3941 Schools Not Shelters Act
- HR 4367 Making appropriations for the Department of Homeland Security for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024
- HR 5283 Protecting Communities from Failure to Secure the Border Act
- HRes 957 Denouncing the Biden administration’s open borders policies, condemning the national security crisis along the southwest border, and urging President Biden to end his administration’s open-border policies
- HR 6678 Consequences for Social Security Fraud Act
- HR 7511 Laken Riley Act
And extreme House Democrat Andrea Salinas voted for NONE of these bills.
