Do-nothing Cartwright does what he does best: nothing
Just under one year ago, six-term Congressman Matt Cartwright gleefully announced $1.6 billion for Pennsylvania for broadband internet as part of the $1.2 trillion Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
In his announcement, Congressman Cartwright said Pennsylvanians needed rural broadband “now more than ever.” But fast forward a year, and it is now being reported that not a single house has been connected to the internet in Congressman Cartwright’s district.
What gives?
“After a decade in Washington, it is clear that do-nothing Congressman Cartwright has become nothing more than your typical career politician. He is the first person in line to take credit for something, but when it comes to actually following through for his constituents, he’ll most certainly be the first to blame someone else.” – NRCC Spokesman Mike Marinella
