NRCC Statement on WA-03 Primary Election
WASHINGTON – The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) released the following statement on Washington’s 3rd Congressional district primary election results:
“Congratulations to U.S. Army Special Forces Veteran Joe Kent on tonight’s win. Joe will deploy to Congress to lower inflation and costs, end the border crisis and defend law and order, just like he enlisted at age 18 and fought to protect our freedoms for 20 years over 11 combat deployments.
The jig is up for Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, whose fake moderate mask slipped, revealing her to be an extreme Portland liberal. From her Reed College radical days to aiding Antifa rioters, praising an Islamic terrorist group and voting against securing the border, Portland Perez sides with the far-left, not southwest Washington.” – NRCC Spokesperson Ben Petersen
Background:
- Marie Gluesenkamp Perez is not the person she claims to be.
- Perez weaponized her shop to aid Antifa rioters who laid siege to downtown Portland in 2020 and violently clashed with police.
- Perez praised the radical Islamic terrorist group Hezbollah in unearthed blog posts even though Hezbollah slaughtered hundreds of American troops.
- Perez voted against the Secure the Border Act and said, “Nobody stays awake at night worrying about the southern border,” even while fentanyl poisoning deaths in WA-03 surged 500 percent in recent years.
- Perez bragged about transforming a moderate Democrat group into a ‘rural Antifa’ group.
- Perez lied about her biography and an investigation revealed her claims about being a mechanic do not add up.
- Perez dodged her taxes, shortchanging police, fire and schools.
