NRCC Statement on Kamala Harris Visit to Raleigh

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) released the following statement on Kamala Harris’ visit to Raleigh today:

“Not only does Kamala Harris own every Bidenomics failure, but she and Don Davis would make the economy worse with their new Kamalanomics plans. There’s no doubt about it: Kamala’s Soviet-era price controls would put North Carolinians in bread lines and the economy into a death spiral.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Delanie Bomar 

Ahead of her visit to North Carolina, Harris rolled out an economic plan to set price controls on food producers like Smithfield, putting vulnerable Democrat Don Davis at odds with one of the largest employers in NC-01. Smithfield Foods owns 146,336 acres in North Carolina, but Kamala Harris and Don Davis’ new plan would make it harder for meat packers like Smithfield.
