Alaska House race moved to “Toss-Up” after new poll

Following a new poll yesterday showing Nick Begich poised to beat extreme Democrat Mary Peltola, today the Cook Political Report moved the Alaska House race from “Lean Democrat” to “Toss-Up.” 

The move reinforced Nick Begich’s growing momentum after the primary. They noted Peltola “will have to run in a one-on-one race against a Republican for the first time.”
