Gonzalez says he’s “content” with the border crisis
Vulnerable Democrat Vicente Gonzalez yesterday said he’s “content” with Kamala Harris’ border crisis.
Texas Politics reported, “We then asked if he believes Vice President Kamala Harris (D-TX) should continue her policies at the border if she is elected President. The Texas congressman appeared content with the current Biden/Harris immigration policy.”
Gonzalez has long been opposed to strong border security. He voted against hiring more CBP agents, voted against deploying improved technology to the southern border, and even praised the Biden-Harris mess at the border.
“The race in Texas’ 34th district is a choice between weak open-border policies and strong, safe border communities. Vicente Gonzalez is willing to accept the status quo and continue draining local resources instead of advocating for the needs of South Texas families.” — NRCC Spokeswoman Delanie Bomar
