🚨 POLL ALERT: Golden In Trouble

A new poll in Politico this morning shows Jared Golden in T-R-O-U-B-L-E. 

Some interesting data points: 

• Austin Theriault currenlty leads Jared Golden by 2 points.
• Donald Trump’s lead over Harris went from +2 to +9 since July. 
• 72% of voters are aware of Theriault, and Theriault has a net favorable rating.
• “Throughout the campaign, Golden has seen this path narrow as he’s hemorrhaged support from Republicans (and Republicans have become increasingly acquainted with his votng record).”
• Theriault moved “from an initial 21-point deficit with independents to a tie over the course of the campaign.”
• “…26% of voters are hearing favorable news about Golden, while 43% are hearing unfavorable news about him. This 17-point deficit in news awareness among all voters includes a 10-point deficit with independents.”
