Richard Hudson Statement on Being Re-Elected as NRCC Chairman for Second Term

NRCC Chairman Richard Hudson released the following statement after the results of House GOP leadership election:

“I am humbled by my colleagues’ vote of confidence to continue to lead the effort to hold our House majority for another term. I sought this role because the people in my district are fed up with the direction of the country. Under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris they are less prosperous and less safe. The American people have spoken. They want change and have given Republicans an opportunity to clean up the Democrats’ mess. If we deliver on our promise to lower prices, secure the border, and unleash American energy, I am confident the American people will reward us at the ballot box in 2026.  I am ready to get back to work.” — NRCC Chairman Richard Hudson
