Cook Political Report: House GOP on OFFENSE

The Cook Political Report has released its initial 2026 House race ratings and it’s clear House Republicans have the advantage and are on offense. 

• TOTAL competitive seats: 39 DEM vs 29 GOP
• TOTAL toss-up seats: 10 DEM vs 8 GOP
