Do Derek Tran & Dave Min not care about Southern Californians at all?
Radical Democrats are pushing for a government shutdown, and out-of-touch Derek Tran and Dave Min are hiding. Will they join their Democrat cronies and callously put politics over people, or will they put Southern Californians first?
If Tran and Min choose to put politics first, here’s how their vote would hurt Southern Californians — the very people they purport to help:
- Southern Californians’ safety may be threatened as law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers might not get paid.
- There are 1.6 million veterans in the state that will lose out on critical programs — including employment assistance programs.
- The 10,349 federal workers in Tran and Min’s districts may have to work WITHOUT getting paid.
- Millions in loan financing for the state’s 4.2 million small businesses will be jeopardized.
- Funding for the Head Start program — which 50,574 children in California rely on — may be cut off.
“Shutting down the government will have disastrous — and potentially dangerous — consequences on every single Southern Californian, but all Derek Tran and Dave Min are worried about is scoring political points. It’s almost hard to believe, but that’s exactly how out-of-touch Tran, Min and their party really are.” – NRCC Spokesperson Ben Petersen
