Does Darren Soto not care about Floridians at all?

Radical Democrats are pushing for a government shutdown, and out-of-touch Darren Soto is hiding. Will he join his Democrat cronies and callously put politics over people, or will he put Floridians first?

If Darren Soto chooses to put politics first, here’s how his vote would hurt Floridians – the very people he purports to help:

• Floridians’ safety may be threatened as law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers might not get paid.
• There are 1,542,770 veterans in the state that will lose out on critical programs – including employment assistance programs.
• The 7,953 federal workers in Soto’s district may have to work WITHOUT getting paid.
• Millions in loan financing for Florida’s 3.3 million small businesses will be jeopardized.
• Funding for the Head Start program – which 28,546 children in Florida rely on – may be cut off.
