Does Emilia Sykes not care about Ohioans at all?

Radical Democrats are pushing for a government shutdown, and out-of-touch Emilia Sykes is hiding. Will she join her Democrat cronies and callously put politics over people, or will she put Ohioans first?

If Sykes chooses to put politics first, here’s how her vote would hurt Ohioans – the very people she purports to help:

• Ohioans’ safety may be threatened as law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers might not get paid.
• There are 774,935 veterans in the state that will lose out on critical programs – including employment assistance programs.
• The 5,772 federal workers in Sykes’s district may have to work WITHOUT getting paid.
• OH-13’s 1,541 farmers may not have access to financial assistance – including disaster relief.
• Millions in loan financing for Ohio’s 1.1 million small businesses will be jeopardized.
• Funding for the Head Start program – which 25,931 children in Ohio rely on – may be cut off.
