Does Frank Mrvan not care about Indianans at all?

Radical Democrats are pushing for a government shutdown, and out-of-touch Frank Mrvan is hiding. Will he join his Democrat cronies and callously put politics over people, or will he put Indianans first?

If Mrvan chooses to put politics first, here’s how his vote would hurt Indianans – the very people he purports to help:

• Indianans’ safety may be threatened as law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers might not get paid.
• There are 409,836 veterans in the state that will lose out on critical programs – including employment assistance programs.
• The 6,718 federal workers in Mrvan’s district may have to work WITHOUT getting paid.
• IN-01’s 1,853 farmers may not have access to financial assistance – including disaster relief.
• Millions in loan financing for Indiana’s 569,851 small businesses will be jeopardized.
• Funding for the Head Start program – which 9,931 children in Indiana rely on – may be cut off.
