Does Gabe Vasquez not care about New Mexicans at all?

Radical Democrats are pushing for a government shutdown, and out-of-touch Gabe Vasquez is hiding. Will he join his Democrat cronies and callously put politics over people, or will he put New Mexicans first?

If Vasquez chooses to put politics first, here’s how his vote would hurt New Mexicans – the very people he purports to help:

• New Mexicans’ safety may be threatened as law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers might not get paid.
• There are 158,994 veterans in the state that will lose out on critical programs – including employment assistance programs.
• The 18,731 federal workers in Vasquez’s district may have to work WITHOUT getting paid.
• NM-02’s 11,228 farmers may not have access to financial assistance – including disaster relief.
• Millions in loan financing for New Mexico’s 166,301 small businesses will be jeopardized.
• Funding for the Head Start program – which 4,439 children in New Mexico rely on – may be cut off.
