Does Henry Cuellar not care about Texans at all?

Radical Democrats are pushing for a government shutdown, and out-of-touch Henry Cuellar is hiding. Will he join his Democrat cronies and callously put politics over people, or will he put Texans first?

If Cuellar chooses to put politics first, here’s how his vote would hurt Texans – the very people he purports to help:

• Texans’ safety may be threatened as law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers might not get paid.
• There are 1,584,844 veterans in the state that will lose out on critical programs – including employment assistance programs.
• The 15,155 federal workers in Cuellar’s district may have to work WITHOUT getting paid.
• TX-28’s 11,379 farmers may not have access to financial assistance – including disaster relief.
• Millions in loan financing for Texas’s 3.3 million small businesses will be jeopardized.
• Funding for the Head Start program – which 51,195 children in Texas rely on – may be cut off.
