Does Josh Gottheimer not care about New Jerseyans at all?

Radical Democrats are pushing for a government shutdown, and out-of-touch Josh Gottheimer is hiding. Will he join his Democrat cronies and callously put politics over people, or will he put New Jerseyans first?

If Gottheimer chooses to put politics first, here’s how his vote will hurt New Jerseyans – the very people he purports to help:

• New Jerseyans’ safety may be threatened as law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers might not get paid.
• There are 350,538 veterans in the state that will lose out on critical programs – including employment assistance programs.
• The 5,760 federal workers in Gottheimer’s district may have to work WITHOUT getting paid.
• NJ-05’s 1,724 farmers may not have access to financial assistance – including disaster relief.
• Millions in loan financing for New Jersey’s 979,085 small businesses will be jeopardized.
• Funding for the Head Start program – which 9,032 children in New Jersey rely on – may be cut off.
