Does Josh Harder not care about Valley families at all?
Radical Democrats are pushing for a government shutdown, and out-of-touch Josh Harder is hiding. Will he join his Democrat cronies and callously put politics over people, or will he put Valley families first?
If Harder chooses to put politics first, here’s how his vote would hurt Valley families — the very people he purports to help:
- Valley families’ safety may be threatened as law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers might not get paid.
- There are 1.6 million veterans in the state that will lose out on critical programs — including employment assistance programs.
- The 7,167 federal workers in Harder’s district may have to work WITHOUT getting paid.
- The 9th district’s 6,532 farmers may not have access to financial assistance — including disaster relief.
- Millions in loan financing for the state’s 4.2 million small businesses will be jeopardized.
- Funding for the Head Start program — which 50,574 children in California rely on — may be cut off.
“Shutting down the government will have disastrous — and potentially dangerous — consequences on every single Valley family, but all Josh Harder is worried about is scoring political points. It’s almost hard to believe, but that’s exactly how out-of-touch Harder and his party really are.” – NRCC Spokesperson Ben Petersen
