Does Laura Gillen not care about New Yorkers at all?

Radical Democrats are pushing are pushing for a government shutdown, and out-of-touch Laura Gillen is hiding. Will she join her Democrat cronies and callously put politics over people, or will she put New Yorkers first?

If Gillen chooses to put politics first, here’s how her vote will hurt New Yorkers – the very people she purports to help:

• New Yorkers’ safety may be threatened as law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers might not get paid.
• There are 778,522 veterans in the state that will lose out on critical programs – including employment assistance programs.
• The 6,870 federal workers in Gillen’s district may have to work WITHOUT getting paid.
• Millions in loan financing for New York’s 2.2 million small businesses will be jeopardized.
• Funding for the Head Start program – which 38,360 children in New York rely on – may be cut off.
