Does Maggie Goodlander not care about Granite Staters at all?
Radical Democrats are pushing are pushing for a government shutdown, and out-of-touch Maggie Goodlander is hiding. Will she join her Democrat cronies and callously put politics over people, or will she put Granite Staters first?
If Goodlander chooses to put politics first, here’s how her vote will hurt Granite Staters – the very people she purports to help:
- Granite Staters’ safety may be threatened as law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers might not get paid.
- There are 105,390 veterans in the state that will lose out on critical programs – including employment assistance programs.
- The 8,049 federal workers in Goodlander’s district may have to work WITHOUT getting paid.
- NH-02’s 4,880 farmers may not have access to financial assistance – including disaster relief.
- Millions in loan financing for New Hampshire’s 142,626 small businesses will be jeopardized.
- Funding for the Head Start program – which 1,135 children in New Hampshire rely on – may be cut off.
“Shutting down the government will have disastrous – and potentially dangerous – consequences on every single Granite Stater, but all Maggie Goodlander is worried about is scoring political points. It’s almost hard to believe, but that’s exactly how out-of-touch Goodlander and her party really is.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Maureen O’Toole
