Does Raul Ruiz not care about Californians at all?

Radical Democrats are pushing for a government shutdown, and out-of-touch Raul Ruiz is hiding. Will he join his Democrat cronies and callously put politics over people, or will he put Californians first?

If Ruiz chooses to put politics first, here’s how his vote would hurt Californians — the very people he purports to help:

• Californians’ safety may be threatened as law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers might not get paid.
• There are 1.6 million veterans in the state that will lose out on critical programs — including employment assistance programs.
• The 7,735 federal workers in Ruiz’s district may have to work WITHOUT getting paid.
• The 25^th district’s 2,204 farmers may not have access to financial assistance — including disaster relief.
• Millions in loan financing for the state’s 4.2 million small businesses will be jeopardized.
• Funding for the Head Start program — which 50,574 children in California rely on — may be cut off.
