Does Tom Suozzi not care about New Yorkers at all?

Out-of-touch Tom Suozzi and his radical Democrat cronies are pushing for a government shutdown, callously putting politics over people.

Here’s how badly Suozzi’s vote will hurt New Yorkers – the very people he purports to help:

• New Yorkers’ safety may be threatened as law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers might not get paid.
• There are 778,522 veterans in the state that will lose out on critical programs – including employment assistance programs.
• The 6,438 federal workers in Suozzi’s district may have to work WITHOUT getting paid.
• Millions in loan financing for New York’s 2.2 million small businesses will be jeopardized.
• Funding for the Head Start program – which 38,360 children in New York rely on – may be cut off.
