Don Davis is Driving America into a Government Shutdown Instead of Fighting for North Carolinians

Out-of-touch Democrats are pushing America to the brink of a government shutdown. The clock is ticking—will Don Davis have the backbone to defy his party bosses and fight for North Carolinians, or cave to the radical left?

If Davis chooses to put politics first, here’s how his vote will hurt North Carolinians – the very people he purports to help:

• North Carolinians’ safety may be threatened as law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers might not get paid.
• There are 730,357 veterans in the state that will lose out on critical programs – including employment assistance programs.
• The 7,838 federal workers in Davis’ district may have to work WITHOUT getting paid.
• NC-01’s 6,857 farmers may not have access to financial assistance – including disaster relief.
• Millions in loan financing for North Carolina’s 1.1 million small businesses will be jeopardized.
• Funding for the Head Start program – which 13,757 children in North Carolina rely on – may be cut off.
