Henry Cuellar is driving America into a Government Shutdown Instead of Fighting for Texans

Out-of-touch Democrats are pushing America to the brink of a government shutdown. The clock is ticking—will Henry Cuellar have the backbone to defy his party bosses and fight for Texans, or cave to the radical left?

• Texans’ safety may be threatened as law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers might not get paid.
• There are 1,584,844 veterans in the state that will lose out on critical programs – including employment assistance programs.
• The 15,155 federal workers in Cuellar’s district may have to work WITHOUT getting paid.
• TX-28’s 11,379 farmers may not have access to financial assistance – including disaster relief.
• Millions in loan financing for Texas’s 3.3 million small businesses will be jeopardized.
• Funding for the Head Start program – which 51,195 children in Texas rely on – may be cut off.
