House Democrats face an unprecedented internal rebellion from their base threatening to derail their 2026 midterm campaign amid record-low polling.

From POLITICO: “the Democratic base is pissed off. And not just a little. The intensity of the anger roiling the party is at a historic level, suggesting a breach between congressional Democrats and the party grassroots so severe that it could reshape the 2026 primary election season.”

The Democrat civil war threatens primaries of vulnerable, so-called ‘moderate’ House Democrats in Trump-won districts—chaos that will drain resources and drag their candidates to the far-left. Recent polling found the Democrat base views their party leader as “no one” at 30 percent, AOC at 10 percent, Bernie Sanders at 8 percent and Jasmine Crockett at 4 percent.
